About your Experience
Hi Mama! First, congratulations on your new little one! I know these first hours and days are so special (and also a little overwhelming), and my goal is to capture this moment beautifully while keeping everything relaxed and stress-free. Listed below is what you can expect from a Fresh 48 session with me!
1. Timing & Location
Fresh 48 sessions take place within the first 24–48 hours after birth, usually in the hospital.
- I meet you at your hospital room, so there’s no stress or travel for you.
- I do not photograph labor or delivery, Fresh 48 sessions focus on those sweet first hours with your baby and your family.
2. How I Work
My style is documentary + lightly guided. I capture natural, intimate moments as they happen. But I also love suggesting beautiful natural poses that showcase your new beautiful bond. Expect snuggles, cuddles, tiny details, and all the first interactions between you and your baby. If siblings are present, we include them too!
3. Session Flow
The session is 25–45 minutes, depending on your baby’s comfort and how things are flowing.
- I’ll move gently and quietly, keeping the environment calm and safe.
- You (mom or dad) are welcome to help gently adjust or pose your baby as needed, this keeps everyone comfortable and ensures we capture those sweetest, natural moments.
- There’s no rush, and everything is done at your pace, I’ll follow your baby’s lead.
4. What You’ll Receive
- Full gallery of hand-edited images, no photos held back!
- High-resolution digital images you can print, share, and treasure forever.
- Optional rushed delivery if you want photos before family visits or to announce your baby’s arrival.
5. Preparing for Your Session
- Try to rest, feed, and cuddle your baby before I arrive.
- Keep the hospital essentials handy (blankets, swaddles, or anything special you want photographed).
- Don’t worry about posing, I’ll guide you gently, but most magic comes from real moments.
6. Booking & Next Steps
A $75 retainer reserves your date, and the remaining balance is due the week of your session. Once booked, I’ll stay in touch around your delivery, so you never have to worry about timing or logistics. I am also a fellow mama and am here to answer any questions and support you in any way I can!

pricing and booking
Fresh 48 sessions are $450 and include your full gallery of hand-edited images.
To reserve your spot, a $75 non-refundable retainer is required. The remaining balance is due approximately three weeks before your due date or estimated delivery date. At the time of booking, you’ll also sign a simple contract to confirm your session and ensure everything is set. This keeps the process smooth and stress-free, so you can focus on welcoming your baby while I capture those first special moments.
