Setting the Scene: Fall in Florida Done Right
Let's be honest, creating a true "fall" feel in Florida can be a challenge. But I was determined! I transformed a little corner of the charming Phillipe Park into a cozy autumn haven. Picture this: comfy blankets, rattan woven rugs, a basket overflowing with gorgeous fall flowers and fluffy pampas grass, and a scattering of pumpkins and fall-colored pillows. It was a scene straight out of a fall magazine, and the perfect backdrop for capturing those precious family moments.
The best part? This sweet family! The two little girls were absolute balls of happiness. They were naturals in front of the camera, radiating joy and energy. I was told it can be tricky to get the littlest one to smile, but I'm pretty sure she was cheesing for me the entire time! It was the purist joy.
After soaking up the smiles of the girls with Mom and Dad, I had them sit together on the blankets to throw pretend fall leaves in the air. I have a feeling this was their favorite part! The genuine smiles and laughter that erupted during that moment? Pure gold. Those are the memories I want to capture. The playful, spontaneous moments that define childhood.
And of course, no family session is complete without a tickle party! This is one of my favorite prompts for getting those genuine smiles, not just from the kids but from the parents too! There's nothing quite like the joy of laughter and connection, and that's exactly what we captured during this session.
